What is a fairytale and what is magic? Is it true that this is only a fiction for us to hopelessly dream, wish so passionally and never obtain? No, not at all... And we create our own world in thoughts of magic spells, knights, that fight for eternal love, beautiful unicorns, unimaginable miracles, castles higher than clouds, luxirous balls and flights with star dust... We draw magic from these dreams and create it around us without even mentioning. Magic is inside of us - that is the truth.

Moss and lichen, pastel and brightness, cold and tenderness. Between the roots of graceful pines appear gentle soft sprigs of moss. Pastel gray blue, pale green, red, lemon yellow spots of lichen paint the trunks of trees, shores of cold lakes. Fluffy and lacey bushes of cladonia harbour the stony ground. Life of the North awakens.

This is what I was working on over the last two weeks. The Tender. The Real. The Light. Three ephemeral creatures. Three characters. Three moths. Inexpressible magic of natural shapes and textures, soft undertones and delicate lines. Do not sear your wings.

I was so overwhelmed with all the stuff happening during the last days of 2016 that now I'm only starting to realize that it is winter with New Year holidays and snow-covered pine trees, and hot cocoa with marshmellows, and... and all the stuff that is assosiated with slow, restful and quiet winter time. So happy winter, guys. Spend it joyfully.

A little flashback to how cineraria pin was made. And that was also the first experiment with my new vintage (lol) lense. I love manual lenses rather that automatic ones even though I'm still not trained enough to get the focus easily... But I hope I will be one day. Currently having a challenge to buy a new camera in the end of the year. And then I will be looking forward for buying another lense. I already have three, but yes, I need another one. At least another one.
